His Life and Characteristics
Dr. Muhammad Badie.. a man who collects and does not separate
His appearance recalls the image of the historical guides.. A light beard, a thin face, glasses and a Malaysian hat.. Pious, pious, pure, pure, Saber Muhtaseb..
He has a sweet voice, reciting the verses of God from the Qur’an day and night.
Great humility.. the owner of jurisprudence and religion..
The night does not come to him except that he performs the night prayer, nor the morning that he does not recite the supplications, nor the evening that he does not reciting the supplication that connects him with his brothers.
All this adds to the elements of a picture whose features are drawn by the testimonies and convictions of the broad sector within the Brotherhood body.
Journey to Muslim Brotherhood
In 1959, Dr. Badi’ is one of the members of the Hamoui Syrian Muslim Brotherhood, Dr. Muhammad Suleiman Al-Najjar, who invited him to join the Brotherhood. The young man was convinced and enthusiastic about the idea, despite the atmosphere of fear that was raised when the word “Brotherhood” was mentioned at the time. Al-Najjar left his influence on Dr. Badi’ in his sincerity to his call and his effort And time for it, and Dr. Badie said about him that he is the one who followed him with education and upbringing, remedying gaps and filling deficiencies.
In the same year, the young man began to memorize the last part of the Qur’an, and after completing it, he had an appointment with Sayyid Qutb, where his teacher Suleiman al-Najjar gave him the last part of “In the Shadows of the Qur’an.” Dr. Badi’ felt - as he says - that the soul had entered his body And he had not tasted the sweetness of the Qur’an before.
arrest dr. Badie and thrown in prison to see himself what he was hearing from his brothers about the hell of Abdel Nasser prisons.
Moving south
Dr. Badie moved from El-Mahalla El-Kubra - or rather - from Zagazig, his place of work, to Beni Suef Governorate in 1987 and was appointed as a professor of veterinary medicine at its university after obtaining a doctorate from Zagazig University in 1977.
A man of Dawaa, not politics
One of the characteristics of Dr. Badie is that he does not speak without including the verses of the Qur’an and the noble hadiths in his speech. The man sees that all the answers are found in the Qur’an and Sunnah. Even when answering a question about the reasons for the media campaigns against the group, the man cited Qur’anic verses, and when he spoke about football, he spoke. About it according to the Qur’an and Sunnah, and he says that the sports rose is the brother of the praise rose. As for the sports club that he encourages, he said: I do not have fanaticism for one of the clubs, I am looking for the best club in morals and behavior; To love him.. and encourage the Mahalla team to continue in the general league, in addition to my country's national team.
The articles of Dr. Badie, most of them carried scientific, veterinary, and educational titles, linking current events and situations to education and scientific movements.
Dr. Badie and public action, speaking about democracy, he says
If people choose something illegal, it is not fit to be implemented. If there is a violation of Islamic law, it cannot be implemented.
He also confirms that the Brotherhood will accept the election result, even if it brings Gamal Mubarak. If the elections are held freely and fairly, Gamal Mubarak has the right to run, like others, in the presidential elections, but on the condition that the door is opened to all Egyptians on an equal footing and in free and fair elections.
Cooperation between Coptic Christians and Coptic Muslims
(I am a Coptic Muslim)
He stresses the keenness to communicate with the Coptic Christian and Coptic Muslim brothers, as all of them are Egyptian citizens, stressing in his meetings with them the importance of the unity of the components of the homeland, stressing the right of citizenship for all Egyptians on an equal footing.
Likewise, most of the Brotherhood envied Dr. Badie for his openness and patience in the face of adversity.
Despite this, the man always called on the Brotherhood to be patient with those who wronged them, and even prayed for the guidance of the wrongdoers always... And he used to have a famous saying that he repeated constantly.
“He who considers his affairs to God has no right with those who harmed him.”
The man also enjoyed the love of most of the people of the group, and that is why he was chosen as a member of the Guidance Bureau in 1993, then he obtained the highest votes in the recent Guidance Bureau elections from the General Shura Council.
Many official and popular Muslims and the Muslim Brotherhood rejoice in the arrival of the new guide, and they expect that the group will witness a great leap at his hand, and openness to society and political forces more than before, as the man is social of the first class and is fluent in political work, as he is keen to communicate with all political forces and patriotism.
